Two people are dead and another wounded after a shooting on the University of Central Arkansas campus, the Associated Press reports.
The campus was locked down and one man is in custody after the shooting that occurred about 9:30 Sunday night.
The identities of the victims and the man in custody have not been released.
Here’s the story.

I wish CNN would do conduct some serious fact checking. I just watched the most recent update which contained numerous errors.
1. UCA is located in Faulkner County, Not Conway County. The reporter needs to contact someone at the university to get correct pronouncations of the names of places.
2. The connect with the UAPB Homecoming (an historically black college) was not even a factor. The game was almost 100 miles away on the other side of the state. In fact the activities had ended the night before. As a graduate student at UAPB, CNN why should you start any rumors? I guess UAPB had something to do with the shooting at UALR, in Feb. too?
3. Living in Arkansas, when violence happens here, the media readily associates it with the city of Pine Bluff or UAPB; both are majority black. Yet, most cases of violence occur in Little Rock or the historically White institutions here, i.e., the Pressley murder, UALR Shooting, Jonesboro school shootings, and now the UCA shootings. Adding the blog comment linking UAPB with the shootings was quite premature.
I honestly thought CNN was better than that.
